Sundays
Welcome ministry
• Are you friendly and cheerful and love to meet people?
• Welcome people at the Church door. Help them to find a seat. Give out the “Connect”
• After the service, meet newcomers and visitors at the Welcome Table
• Must arrive Church 30 minutes before service starts
• Be on a team to serve once a month
• Meet newcomers at the Welcome Tea if possible
Multi-media operation
• Operators are required to attend music rehearsals and arrive 30 minutes before the service (times vary for different services)
• Be on a team to serve once a month
Bible reader
- Able to read clearly and fluently with a neutral accent
After church prayer ministry
• A caring personality and a good listener
• Able to give some time after the church service you attend
• Willing to be trained
• Generally available twice a month
Outreach
Christianity Explored team
- Are you a mature Christian with a heart to share the gospel with others?
- Attend one training session
- Help lead the course once a year (six evenings) — study guides provided
Evangelistic events
- Can you help us to run outreach events to the wider community? Perhaps you’re a great organiser?
- All abilities and ages welcome for a range of different tasks to help promote our termly events from helping with food preparation, to venue set up to promotions to manning a BBQ and more
Serving the poor
- Opportunities to work with the poor in Hong Kong by volunteering in providing weekend meals, fellowship meetings, weekly outreach and holiday camps
- Cantonese preferable
Serving the disabled
- Join a small team to visit disabled people at a home for an afternoon once a month
- Cook meals on Sundays for the HOLF residents and staff
Prison ministry
- Join various teams going to visit inmates or write to inmates on a regular basis
- Must attend the training and able to go at least 8 times a year
- English, Cantonese and Spanish speakers urgently needed
Elderly home visits
- Join the team to visit the deprived single-living elderly on a regular basis
- Have a passion to serve seniors
- Willing to attend training
Healthcare group
1) To equip and prepare for any medical event in the church compound
2) For networking, friendship and fellowship
3) To enable medical mission trip
We invite any members of SAC in healthcare, and who are interested in mission to join.
English teacher
- Teaching English literacy classes for asylum seekers
- The ability and availability to be involved in lessons during weekday morning in school terms
Cantonese teacher

- The ability and availability to be involved in weekly lessons
Children’s ministry
Kidzone or Creche teacher
Available September 2018 — July 2019
- Have a heart to teach children about God
- Work with an assistant
- Commit to 22 Sundays (twice a month)
- Eligible age 18 and above
- Attend trainings during the year
- Arrive 20 minutes before the service starts

Welcome Team
- welcome and register newcomers and help operate the check-in system
- commit to at least 24 Sundays
Youth ministry
Fusion Sundays
9:30 or 11:30am
- Initial 4 month commitment
- 2 hours each Sunday (9.00 – 11.00am or 11.00am – 1.00pm)
- Help lead a small group or support an existing leader
- Help run various elements of a Sunday morning program
- Attend Youth Camp Weekend (BreakAway)
Fusion Fridays
Small group leader or assistant
- Initial 4 month commitment (at least 2 Fridays a month)
- Help run various elements of the Friday night program
- Be an extra hand, ears, eyes and mouth
Miscellaneous
Baking team
- The ability and availability to bake at home
- Willing to contribute baked goods for church events
Walking & hiking
- Experienced walker/hiker
- Willing to lead and organise church walks/hikes with a team
Office administration
- Available to help in the Church Office for any special needs – cutting, packing, etc.
