We encourage all who come to St Andrew’s not to be spectators, but fully engaged partners in building God’s kingdom. There are many amazing ways you can volunteer! Prayerfully consider how you could serve in the following areas.
First impressions matter. It’s what makes people feel comfortable and informed in a new place. That’s why we want to make the welcome ministry at St Andrew’s incredible. If you’re friendly, personable, and want to meet new people, sign up and get involved.
Our welcomers are on hand to make people feel at home at St Andrew’s. They meet, greet, and inform newcomers at the Welcome Table before and after services each Sunday.
Our ushers ensure the smooth running of our Sunday services. They serve people in a variety of practical ways so that everyone can feel comfortable during our time together.
The next generation is hungry for authentic and loving Christian role models to point them to Jesus. Each Sunday about 250 children come to our Creche and Kidzone programs. It is so rewarding building relationships with the next generation and seeing God impact their lives. You can be part of this blessing too!
Our teachers make the Bible come alive as they lead a group of children and teach God’s word in different ways.
Our assistants assist the teacher and guide the children in various activities.
Our welcomers provide a big warm welcoming smile and help with registration and new comers.
Some of the most important factors in the healthy growth of teenagers are a safe space to ask questions about life and faith, and invested adults who are concerned for their wellbeing. Youth ministry aims to provide that space and those relationships. This is a wonderful opportunity to invest in the lives of our young people and see them grow as people and as children of God!
Sunday mornings are a more structured service style program with games, worship, a bible talk and small group discussions.
Friday nights are a small growth group style meeting in a relaxed setting.
At St Andrews, we have many volunteering opportunities with local outreach programs that serve those who are in need. These are spread across a broad range of different ministries, days and commitment levels. Sign up today and put your faith into action!

A rewarding ministry opportunity to teach and show love to the minority Nepalese children in the Yau Ma Tei area. Through singing songs and teaching bible stories, the team shares laughter and joy with a group of bubbly kids.
Creative & Production
We believe faith in Jesus should be expressed creatively. Through music and multimedia, our team help to enliven heavenly truths to encourage, uplift and strengthen the church. This is a unique and meaningful way to serve our creator God with the gifts and talents he’s given us.
It’s a joy and privilege to worship and give thanks to our God with songs of praise! Musical worship is essential to church life, as we seek to let the word of God dwell richly in our hearts. If you are competent in one or more musical skill sets and consider yourself a good team player, then please consider signing up for an audition to join this exciting ministry.
They say a picture is worth 1000 words, which makes photography such a powerful communication tool. Our photographers capture moments at special Sunday services and other events. This is a great opportunity for anyone with a keen eye for composition and is reasonably comfortable with portraiture photography. Images will be used in a variety of outputs for St Andrew’s – online, digital and print.
The audio-visual team plays a vital role on Sundays by making sure the different elements of services are displayed precisely as planned. If you’re focussed, good with computers and can pick-up real-time instructions, please consider serving in this area. Training will be offered for increased proficiency and confidence.
