The heart of Christianity is the story about Jesus.
The Bible tells us how God created the world and he created us to be in a relationship with Him. However, the reality is that the world is broken and humanity is broken because we reject God’s love and purposes. God sent His Son Jesus into the world to deal with this brokenness.
More has been written and said about Jesus than any other person in history, yet the core of his message is clear: he came to give his life for us so that we can have a relationship with God. Jesus’ death and resurrection is the good news of Christianity.
Maybe you have questions about God, Jesus, or the Bible? We’d love to help you answer those questions. At St Andrew’s, the Christianity Explored course is offered regularly, where you will be able to ask questions, make new friends in an informal context, and learn how, in Jesus, there are real answers to life’s big questions.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
John 3:16
