Hope Explored

There are few emotions more powerful than hope. It’s a spark inside you that brings a smile to your lips; a light that shows on your face; a feeling that lifts your head and pulls you forward. Hope is what keeps us alive. But these days it often feels hard to come by. Yet real hope is what the Christian faith claims to offer: a joyful expectation for the future, based on true events in the past, which changes everything about our present.

At St Andrew’s, we are pleased to run a new three-week course for seekers, non-Christians and those with big questions about faith. Join us on 15 January at 7:30 pm as we seek to uncover how he alone brings the hope we so desperately need.

We believe that Hope can be found and it is found in the person of Jesus Christ.

That’s why we have hope for today and hope for the future. To know that we are known to our very depths and loved to the very sky and we can face tomorrow because death has been defeated and nothing in this life can take away the wonderful gift that Christ has secured for us. “That whoever believes in me shall never die” (John 11:26)

This is the best news in the world and we want to share it with Hong Kong. So please can you prayerfully consider inviting someone to the course or even better to bring someone along. If you have any questions please do come and get in touch. We would love to help you share the gift of Hope this January.
