“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
~ Matthew 28:18-20
St Andrew’s doesn’t want to be ‘a church for ourselves’. We want to place great importance on the needs of those outside of our church, over our own comfort. We want to follow Jesus’ commandment to love our neighbours. This means we seek to serve our city, as well as each other.
Our church partners with individuals and organisations that seek to meet the material, social, and spiritual needs of people in Hong Kong and around the world. We encourage our members to get involved in serving the city by using the gifts, opportunities, and resources that God has given each of us.
How can you be involved?
Pray for our partners, for their work, and those whom they serve.
Contribute to the work of our partners through financial support. This can be done through St Andrew’s or even directly.
Join in the work of one of our partners by volunteering. There are many ways for you to donate your time. You can join-in individually or with groups, regularly or a once off. Whatever your situation, there is a way for you to serve.
