Ministry Network
In St. Andrews Church we
believe that every church member is a minister, every part of the
body has an important and unique role to play. Here at St. Andrews
there is a whole network of ministries which enable the church to
function and indeed which allow so much to be done. There are also
ministries beyond the church through which individuals serve God.
All who have employment are called to serve the Lord as salt and
light in their place of work; others are volunteers in social work
projects or charities; some work as mission partners but every
member is a minister!

MINISTRY IN EAST TIMOR
Following mission trips in October
2000 and April 2001, a team from St. Andrew's went to East Timor in
May 2002, visiting Dare & Aileu to work with Sister Lourdes and
also the Assemblies of God Church in Dili.
Please pray for East Timor,
enjoying its new-found independence.
A full report of the East Timor trip is available
on request.

PRISON
MINISTRY
"He
has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me
to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year
of the Lord's favour."
Could you
be one who brings good news to prisoners? On the 3rd Sunday of every
month a team from St Andrew's goes to Stanley Prison to lead a worship
service for category A prisoners who want to hear about Jesus. Approximately
20 inmates are allowed to come each time and worship together with
us. Regularly inmates are coming to Christ and are encouraged to
join regular bible studies run by Kun Sun. This is an exciting new
ministry in which God is opening doors for the gospel and those
is darkness are responding to the light. If you want to know more
or are interested in getting involved please speak to Janice Tibbets.
