Pastoral care is at the heart of St Andrew's. We have an integrated pastoral care system that provides different types of care for different needs.
St Andrew's pastoral care system is a ministry to members of the body of Christ who are going through difficulties in life and/or experiencing brokenness, personal sin or failure, physical, material, spiritual or moral stress. We will share the compassion of Jesus by loving and caring for each other through hospitality, fellowship, discipleship, listening, prayer and intercession, healing and deliverance.
We believe pastoral care is part of every person's ministry because we are all called to care for one another as Christ has cared for us. Pastoral care is not only the burden of the clergy but is the responsibility of everyone in the family of Christ. Our goal is to encourage every person at St Andrew's to care for others.
Our Pastoral Care ministries are as follows: - Self Care (Cleansing Stream, Solo)
- One Another Care (Welcome Ministry, Intercessory Prayer Ministry, Growth Groups)
- Person to Person Care (Prayer Ministry, Stephen Ministry, one2one)
- Multi Group Care (Christianity Explored, Discipleship Explored, Growth Groups, Crèche & Kidzone, Youth Ministry, Friendship Garden, Home4U)
- Counselling (Pre-marriage Preparation & Mentoring)
- Referral (Christian Mental Health Referral Ministry)
